cheap xbox accessories

Microsoft will officially cut the price of the http://www.epathchina.com/xbox-accessories-xbox-360-fan-c-293_303.html" target="_blank">Xbox 360 intercooler Elite SKU tomorrow across the UK and US as part of a move to phase out the Xbox 360 Pro bundle and help make room for the coming Natal controller - which many see as a re-launch of the Xbox 360.

The Xbox 360 Elite will be cut to just £199.99 starting tomorrow, while the Xbox 360 Arcade will get a price raise to £159.99 and will not now be bundled with any games or software.
The focus on broadening the media appeal of the Psp accessories extends to a new Vidstore too, which will allow users to download movies.
In the US meanwhile theSpeaking in an epic-length press conference just before the start of GamesCom in Cologne this year, Sony dropped details on a bunch of new features heading to the PSN download service in the near future.
The PlayStation Store will also be getting a bunch of new navigation options and smaller features, including a ‘What’s new?’ section to see what the latest wii controller content available is. It’ll also be getting the option for some dynamic themes, including one which we were shown that had the ubiquitous Sackboy from Little Big Planet jogging in the background.
While most of the announcements are quite small, there are a few good ones, particularly when it comes to video features for the console. It’ll launch in the UK this November and while details were slim for the moment we did note an option to either buy or rent films.
At its press conference, Sony was also keen to talk up the apparent success of PlayStation Home and detailed some of the new content that it’ll be getting in the common months – including at least two new regions and a bunch of activities. While our own thoughts about xbox accessories Home are ambivalent at best, Sony says it’s delighted with how well the online life sim and chat-platform has done – racking up more than 72 million content downloads since launch.
"We feel great about our console," said Greenburg. "We have taken a different philosophy, adding more value to our existing console through updates and reinventing the system software. We feel like our system has done very well for us in the current form. We have no plans for a slim."

“We’re very much committed to Home going forward,” said one Sony executive in the official presentation. ''wii accessories kit content is the draw going forward.”as well as trying to compete with Sony, who recently lowered the price of the PlayStation 3 to £249.99 in the UK and announced the introduction of the PlayStation 3 Slim. Microsoft claims the motives are a tad more philanthropic however.
New vouchers will apparently be available in stores globally by the end of this months and will be available in two denominations – 20 and 50 Euros. No UK or US prices were explicitly mentioned. Other notable additions to the PS3 accessories include the option to watch catch-up TV formats - in the UK this will include BBC iPlayer, while several other countries through Europe will get local equivalents (Spain, for instance, will be getting RTVe).

That new content will apparently include a new SingStar themed region from Sony itself, which seemed to be based around a disco aesthetic judging from the promo videos and which would include xbox 360 controller interactive dance floors and new events.New third-party regions will be headed to Home in the future soon by the looks of things – Audi is down to add a new car-based area to the online world by the end of the year, though details were few.
The most likely reason for the price changes are clearing things up for a new Natal bundle in the coming months, "As we continue to refine and make improvements on the internal components for the Xbox 360 cables and costs come down we pass those savings on to our customers in the form of price drops," said Microsoft's Aaron Greenburg in a press statement.
The fact that Microsoft's price cut coincides with Sony's announcement is a pure accident, claims Microsoft - who also rubbished rumours that an Xbox 360 accessories Slim was on the way.

accessories for xbox

On the heels of Sony reducing the price of its PlayStation 3 and announcing the psp accessories, Microsoft announced Thursday that it too will be dropping the price of its console.
Starting Friday, the Xbox 360 Elite will be priced at $299, $100 cheaper than its current price. , that SKU will no longer be offered by the hardware maker.Going forward, Microsoft will offer only the $299 Xbox 360 Elite with its 120GB hard drive, The Xbox 360 cables Pro,might surprise you. which currently retails for $299 will be priced at $249 starting Friday. Once retailers sell through their entire stock of Xbox 360 Pro units,When I pushed Microsoft’s director of product management for Xbox 360 and Xbox Live, Aaron Greenberg, on why the company had decided to reduce the Xbox 360’s price now, he said that it had been planned for months.
and the $199 Xbox 360 controller which comes bundled with five games and a 256MB memory unit.Microsoft’s decision to reduce the price of the Xbox 360 isn’t a surprise. Numerous rumors have been swirling around the Web for weeks. But perhaps the reason for the price drop, at least according to Microsoft, “I’m sure some will think this is a response to competitor pricing,” Greenberg said. “But we had planned this reduction months Looking ahead
So, a new pricing battle has been started. Starting Friday, you’ll be able to choose between an http://www.epathchina.com/xbox-accessories-xbox-360-fan-c-293_303.html" target="_blank">Xbox 360 fan Elite for $299 or a PlayStation 3 for the same price.
in advance. Retail circular ads and store merchandising were all lined up. We wanted to be ready for the holiday season.”
Microsoft’s Xbox division is profitable. That stands in stark contrast to Sony’s PlayStation 3, which is currently being sold at a loss.
will also stay constant.Other changes?
Microsoft was quick to say that no other changes will be made to its offering. The Xbox 360’s design will remain unchanged. Say good-bye to free cables Perhaps the most glaring omission gamers will find when they pick up the now cheaper Xbox 360 headset Elite is that it will not be bundled with an HDMI cable. Current units on-sale for $399 include one.
When I asked Microsoft why it decided to ditch the it, Realizing that, it decided to remove it from the Elite packaging and “pass the savings on to customers.”
“When we first launched the xbox 360 intercooler Elite, HDMI cables had high perceived values,” Greenberg said. “Now, they’re commoditized.”
Microsoft wouldn’t say whether it is generating a profit off the sale of each Xbox 360 accessories unit it sells. Greenberg would only say that, overall, Accessory pricing on products, such as Wi-Fi adapters and hard drive add-ons,
It’s debatable that Microsoft is actually helping consumers by taking the HDMI cable out of the Xbox 360 Elite box.the company had a rather interesting take.Greenberg went on to say that research Microsoft performed found that the majority of its customers weren’t using the cable. That logic flies in the face of Microsoft’s contention that HDMI cables are being commoditized. Commoditization suggests production costs are low and including them with the xbox 360 wireless controller Elite wouldn’t be as costly as they once were. Browsers and Blu-rayWindows features a browser. Windows Mobile has a browser. And the upcoming Zune HD sports one too. But so far, there isn’t a browser in the Xbox 360. Greenberg said when asked why Microsoft won’t offer a browser in the Xbox 360. Microsoft has decided that it wants its console’s software to focus on home entertainment. A browser doesn’t quite fit into that strategy, although it’s worth noting a software update that’s slated to be released later this year will add native applications for Twitter and Facebook.Microsoft also has no plans to bring Blu-ray disc playback to the rc tank. The hardware maker doesn’t see a reason to add Blu-ray to its console when users can already get HD content through Xbox Live.Which will you choose?I asked Greenberg if Microsoft plans to offer an psp accessories browser in the near future and he didn’t hesitate: no chance.“It’s a pretty bad experience,”
